Bunk Beds and Growing Up

This cute lil bug has been the reason for a lot of change around our house this week. He moved from our bedroom- out of his cradle and into a crib. He is five months old today so it was time.
We knew we would eventually have to do bunk buds, we have outgrown our cozy little condo.


These three were SO excited, they waited all day for Beetle to get home from work so he could put it together. They would have been even more excited had they known he was going to let them be in charge of the drilling.

Simon moves out of our bedroom, we buy bunk beds and suddenly our kids seem like they are growing up way too fast, I thought this yesterday when I walked in on all four of them playing cards, it was Old Maid but still- they organized the game on their own. They were even playing it right(all except for they don't understand that your not supposed show your cards to everyone)
and talk about growing up too fast,
we have a daughter old enough who thinks peace signs are cool?!

Tubby Time

Simon shared his tubby time for the first time this morning,

Maxwell was a little more excited than he was.


Max got a hold of those chubby cheeks,




















I had to pry his little fingers off of them.

Guess who got a haircut?

Not this little guy(although I'm thinking it's almost time he get's one)

Potter n' Pirates

Pirates have consumed Benson's mind for about two years now, it's ongoing and it shows in his kindergarten artwork almost daily. (I love how he writes his name)

I am glad he is starting to think about something else in addition to pirates, this is also showing up in his artwork. Introducing the latest obsession............Harry Potta!
