Watermelon Man

I have always been so thankful that I married a man who is EXTREMELY good at carrying heavy loads, in all aspects of life really. A baby, a toddler, a watermelon, no big deal for this guy. He also wanted to carry the milk, but I had to hold something in order to not look worthless.

Guppy Network

This is Annabelle's new sign on her bedroom door, it changes periodically.

It all started a couple of weeks ago when Beetle scooped up a free fish tank. The day he scooped up on this free fish tank he couldn't wait to head to the fish store to buy the kids some guppies. He bought three of them. One for each of the kids, except for Simon.
Annabelle went to bed crying Sunday night because her guppy was belly up. Beetle promised her that the next day after school he would buy her another guppy. She came home from school the next day, all smiles with her new guppy in a bag. I just kind of laughed when she said, "Mom this is a boy guppy, hopefully it will have babies with one of the girl guppies so we won't have to keep buying guppies when they die." The next morning I hear her screaming, "baby guppies, six of them!, No seven!, No eight!" She was right all except for when she said "Mom the guppies didn't waste any time having babies!" It turn's out, Benson's guppy was pregnant(is that the word you use for fish) when we bought it. Benson's guppy was also not done having babies, by the end of the day there were FIFTEEN baby guppies!
I couldn't get a picture of all the little guys at once but here are a few of them, looks like we bought Annabelle's guppy a day too soon, eighteen guppies do not fit in this tank too well.

Who knew this little bundle of squinty eyed sweetness would bring so much laughter and love in to our home?





We are excited to see what the next six years will bring! More crossed eyes maybe??
