Look who turns ONE today!

First Day of School 2011

These two were so excited for today. I thought I would be excited but as I was getting them ready to leave, I was feeling really sad, they are growing up way too fast.

Look at Annabelle, she's not even wearing a bow on the first day of school, she wanted her hair "strait". I also noticed she didn't replace her Barbie key chain on her new backpack, she replaced her breast cancer awareness key chain and her pretty bead key chain--But Barbie was left home):

Aside from Annabelle being too grown up for Barbie key chain, this Boy moving up to the 1st grade was another reason I was feeling a little blue this morning. Lunch time with mommy is no longer):

He was loving the fact that I let him wear Mario and Luigi on the first day of school. I tried talking him in to wearing a nice plaid shirt, to which he replied "but Mom- Mario and Luigi are cool". After Barbie being left home, how can you say No to that!

* This is Benson waiting in line for his teacher to come and get him. I don't know why his shoulders are positioned like that, he did the same thing last night while meeting his teacher. Doesn't he look cute and UNBEATABLE?

To think last year, on the first day of school I was birthing blue eyes........

time really does fly, i want to enjoy every minute of it this year!

Family Vacation

We had so much fun going to Fish Lake with my family for a weekend. The highlight of the trip was boating with the Farley's. Our kids were loving life.


You usually don't get any tougher than Beetle, but when it comes to really cold water, our daughter may have him beat!



This is Beetle right after jumping in to water ski, he could hardly put words together he was so cold. This is Annabelle after she had been tubing for a half hour, she was shivering but she would not admit to being cold. She LOVED tubing!

Annabelle definitely got her toughness from her Dad, I was needing a jacket just sitting in the boat.
I love Simons smooshed up face in his life jacket.

Benson was just happy sitting on the bow of the boat feeling the wind on his face and tongue, this boy can make anyone laugh without even trying.
