Santa
I took our kids to see Santa today. Benson has been begging me for the last three days "Mom, Christmas is SO soon and I still haven't told Santa anything I want, PLEASE take me to the mall,I have to give him my letter!" He has written and re-written about ten letters this month. He wanted the spelling to be just right and after realizing it was going to take him too long, he came up with the idea to just tape pictures of what he wanted to a paper. The pictures were all LEGOS. He loves LEGOS and can spend hours creating just about anything.
When he got his first glimpse of Santa today he said "Mom, Santa's beard looks real- but just to make sure I am going to pull on it as hard as I can." He said it in a most serious voice too, so the rest of the time in line I kept reminding him that it would not be goo to pull on Santa's beard. Luckily, he listened, because Santa's beard was very real.
When we all piled back in to the van Benson yelled with a huge smile on his face and his hand in the air "Who'ever believes in magic waise you'w hand!"
I love that all of our kids bring such a fun spirit of Christmas in to our home and I know that it won't last forever, so I am enjoying every minute of it.

Mr. Smart
Our little Suy Guy is getting too smart. This is his favorite activity these days.....
Luckily the table was cleared this day, but leftover cereal bowls or any type of leftover goods, makes this activity even better. I am constantly lifting him off and telling him NO, and he has even taken a few tumbles but that doesn't stop him from going back for more.
This is the look he usually gives me whenever I tell him "NO" , either he doesn't have a clue what I am saying or he is too smart and knows when to turn on the charm.
