32!

I can't believe I am 32! I really can't believe that when my whole entire cake is lit up, it looks like it's burning my babies cheeks.
Beetle surprised me with this cute ice cream cake, since I am really in to ice cream these days. I love that our little family is getting big enough that when it's just us singing the Birthday song, it still sounds like a celebration-a loud celebration! I am so lucky to have these sweet little people in my life. I am pretty dang lucky to have Beetle in my life too, because about an hour after this photo was taken- Simon threw up in his crib TWICE and Beetle bathed him twice, and changed his bed sheets twice, and got up with him more than twice in the night. Even though it was my Birthday, Beetle always goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to being a supportive and positive husband.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was great, we ate at my sister Cassie's house. She did such a good job of making everything nice. We are not the smallest family these days....
Beetle and I had fun working on the name plates together.

Can you believe this is the only picture I got of any of my kids? I had other things on my mind-- like my Thanksgiving dinner, too bad some of it didn't make it in my mouth....
This is not your average size 23 week old belly either, I am going to blame it's size on my meal.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Baked Goods

My pregnancy cravings this time around are out of the ordinary, usually I crave CANDY-actually even when I'm not pregnant I crave CANDY. Baked goods have never really tempted me (except for sugar cookies). But lately I have been wanting peanut butter cookies, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, breads, breads w/ lots of honey and even boxed cupcakes sound good sometimes. I have had some self control and I don't allow myself to buy the ingredients that would create these baked goods in my home. But the other day I realized that I had every ingredient to make banana bread. Plus I had time alone with my little Maxwell while Simon was napping, so we started baking and he was more than happy to help satisfy my craving.
He loved the bowl of mixed sugar and cinnamon, "This weally good stuff Mom".

Moms & Munchies

It was "Mom's & Munchies" for the 1st graders a few days ago. We worked on Benson's daily journal page and read some books. Plus I got to check out his cool desk. Benson is not any different at school than he is at home, as you can see from his chocolate muffin teeth(:
I love "Mom's & Munchies" and I look forward to it every year with both of our kids(and not just for the munchies).

Our little guy

Today was our 21 week ultra sound. It was so good to see that everything looks healthy, and it was fun seeing this little guy move around so much, the Dr. had a hard time checking the rhythm of his heart because he wouldn't hold still. I am looking forward to the day we get to welcome this cute little guy in to our family and to kiss that little nose!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year. When the kids got out of school we carved some pumpkins from Grandpa George's pumpkin patch. Benson chose a green pumpkin, and drew a mummy for me to carve, my carving struggled, thank goodness for toothpicks, or we were about to have a Benson meltdown.

Maxwell had fun watching us and telling me how to draw his pumpkin face, I couldn't even get him to clean out the pumpkin, which is the funnest part in my opinion.
Annabelle cleaned and carved her very own pumpkin this year, she did awesome!

Time to dress up for Trick or Treating.

                                                                    Marrrrrrrio

Who would Mario be without Luigi?
