Jackson Hole & Old Faithful

On our way to Old Faithful we stopped to see a lot of antlers.

                                                                     and Lily Pads!

The Cousins waiting to see Old Faithful spout.

                                                        Brothers holding their Babies

                                                                    Old Faithful

I forgot what this place is called but it wasn't too far from Old Faithful. Really pretty too.

The kids loved running on these boardwalks, Maxwell was flying an airplane in this pic-I love his imagination.

                                                             Keeping themselves entertained

There was A LOT of driving on this trip, and our kids were really pretty good for how much they were strapped in, although towards the end things got a little CraZy.

Even Baby Brig went a little stir crazy.

Beetle and I actually enjoyed the driving-mainly because of all the beautiful scenery.

Mesa Falls, ID

Upper and Lower Mesa Falls in Idaho, near Yellowstone. These are the prettiest water falls! I don't even have a cool camera but I honestly want to make a "scenic" calendar and include Mesa Falls in it. Aren't they Beautiful?

I loved the mist from the waterfall, it felt so good on such a hot day.

Benson and Max with cousin Rigdon, he is pretty much their Idol.

The older generation of R&C Smart cousins.

                                                                     Loved Mesa Falls!

The Trough

When I was a child summer wouldn't have been summer without our "swimming pool"/Cow trough. I am pretty sure we spent our entire summers in the pool, with about ten other neighbor kids.  My Aunt  Marianne was kind enough to hand their family swimming pool down to us. I am so glad our kids will have the same great memories.

We have only used it a couple of times this summer, because of this little guy- he is fearless when it comes to water or anything for that matter. So we made the most of it when we filled it up.Our kids were swimming the whole entire day! I jumped in with Annabelle and realized how BIG I am. This pool used to seem so big and deep but I may have outgrown it a tad. I took advantage of my bigness and produced some great waves  and whirlpools for Annabelle to ride in. Be glad Beetle wasn't home at this time to take a pic.

Si Guy riding the whirlpool

Beetle wanted to see if Ruben could swim....he can!

I went in the house to grab some towels and found Annabelle having tub time with Ruben...kind of SICK- I know, but the expression on her face was pretty cute. I am pretty sure the pool gave her the idea, at least she stayed in her swimming suit :)

Grandkids in Driggs

Good Times were had by the Smart Grandkids in Driggs, Idaho

There was ALOT of tub time going on.

Si Guy jumped right in with the "Terrific Trio"

There was also lots of I Pad game time and Olympic watching time

                                                                        Good Eats time

Baby Time......... with the Fearsome Foursome around there is always a Baby to love on.

There was lots of blanket time for the babies

It was so fun watching them roll around and grab each other.

Aunt Rachel made the cutest "Fearsome Foursome" matching Bulldog Onesies

I love this picture-- mainly because Si guy all of the sudden decided he wanted to grab Grandma Phyl-Phyl's eye, and someone (probably one of my kids) decided to leave the front door open.

Thanks for the Good times guys!

Bear World

Our Fam of Seven, stoked for our first summer vacation. This is us in Bear World :)

We were really glad we went to Bear world since we didn't end up seeing anything but cows in Yellowstone. The kids loved being this close to bears. Simon kept pointing and yelling "DOGGY".

Simon was in Heaven, he loved the rides and was too little to go by himself, but he was the first one climbing in them when the gates opened, with or without an adult. He has no fear!

These rides were just his size.

The petting zoo was awesome.

Simon was obsessed with every animals nose,

 he never stopped running.

Annabelle loved the petting zoo too, no one loves animals more than this girl.

Creepy, but Cute picture

It was kind of a hot day, Baby Brig was lulled to sleep in Beetle's arms.

Good Bye Bear World, until next time...............
