Purple Pixies

The Purple Pixies finished up their soccer year.

Annabelle had a fun time, even though most of her games this year were really cold and windy. I had to force her to wear a shirt under her uniform.


Maxwell and Eliot cuddling in a blanket, Eliot lasted about 3 minutes, Maxwell a while longer, he enjoys staying warm like his mom.

The Grimacing Smile

You may ask what The Grimacing Smile is. It is a new name that Beetle gave to a facial expression that I often make. It is an inherited facial expression( I know this because a couple of my siblings make the same face). It is also a facial expression that is made when concentrating, working hard on a project, or you might even just be out enjoying the sunshine and there it is again! It is a facial expression that is VERY hard to control, and usually I don't even notice I am making it until someone points it out, which is usually a family member because everyone else is too nice to say "That is not a very pretty face you are making right now".

No one does the Grimacing Smile better than my DAD, he is the man I inherited this expression from so I thought he would be the best person to show what a Grimacing Smile looks like.


Working on a project, reading instructions-The GRIMACE is a given.....
