We became Parents.
I will never EVER forget the happiness and shock I felt when I first saw Annabelle. I could not believe that something that Big and Beautiful was inside of me. When I heard her first cry, for a split second I remember thinking "what is that noise and who is making it?" My Dr. told me to open my eyes, and then I realized where that noise was coming from! I couldn't believe she was ours. The first thing I noticed on her was her cute little nose, I was so happy that it looked just like mine, when I was a baby. Two little nose holes in the shape of upside down raindrops, and not much of anything else ;)
Annabelle was born in the days of non-digital cameras. In fact these pictures were taken with a disposable camera. Awesome.
She was the prettiest baby. And she has grown in to such a pretty girl. I am so thankful we have our Annabelle. I don't know what I would do without her. She is such a great big sister to her little brothers.
She is SO good to Simon. She really wanted him to help her blow out her candles because she knows how much he loves blowing out candles. I thought it was sweet, and a sure sign that she is growing up :(
I would have never guessed she would be the oldest of four brothers. I am so glad she is. I know she will be a strong example to them all. She has the perfect personality for being around all these boys.
But she's a girly-girl too :) Since she is most recently in to nails, we went on a Mommy/Daughter date to get pedicures for her Birthday. It was so much fun.
She chose Baby Blue nails of course.
She was smiling the entire time. I loved watching her little body wiggle from the chair massage. Isn't she looking so grown-up??
Happy TENTH Birthday Annabelle!!
